| Altar Guild |
The Altar Guild is responsible for ordering
flowers to be placed on the altar, changing the altar cloths and to
beautify the sanctuary for the church services. To order flowers please
call Janet at 452-9800. |
| Brotherhood |
The Brotherhood is the men's fellowship of the
church. It is a social group that meets ten times a year.
The Brotherhood hosts their annual Swiss Steak Dinner the Sunday
following Easter. |
| Christian Education |
The purpose of the Christian Education Committee
is to promote and help maintain the education of all members of the
congregation. Our goal is to provide knowledge and confidence in
knowing God is our friend and Savior. |
| Christmas Service Committee |
St. John's Christmas Service Committee helps
provide needy families in our community with gifts at Christmas.

| Church Related Concerns |
The CRC works with the Pastor to assure open
communication with members of the congregation. Assist with
solutions to problems to avoid conflict and encourage the congregation
to share ideas, hopes, dreams and to understand the mission of St.
John's. |
| Endowment
Committee |
The Endowment Committee is
responsible for maintaining and promoting endowment gifts. |
| Finance Committee |
The purpose of the Finance Committee is to be
responsible for proper receipt of all church contributions, keeping the
church's financial records and distributing the church assets in
accordance with the Annual Budget. |
| Long Range Planning
Committee |
The Purpose of the LRPC is to help St. John's UCC
indentify 3, 5, and 10 year objectives for the church. |
| Memorial Committee |
The purpose of the memorial Committee is to
administer all memorial monies received by the church and to insure that
monies are used in accordance with the donor's wishes. |
| Mission/Stewardship |
The purpose of the Mission Committee is to
educate the congregation in opportunities for mission-benevolence,
outreach, OCWM, OGHS, or social action. |
| Mothers N' Others |
Mother's N' Others is a women's fellowship group
of the church. |
| Property Committee |
The Property Committee is responsible for the
upkeep and maintenance of all church property, buildings and grounds. |
| Picnic Committee |
The Picnic Committee is responsible for
organizing St. John's Annual Picnic. |
| Pizza Committee |
The Pizza Committee help to organize pizza fund
raisers for St. John's.

| Scrip Committee |
The Scrip Committee is responsible for purchasing
and selling SCRIP Cards (gift cards) which provides St. John's with

| St. John's Food Pantry |
St. John's Food Pantry provides food for needy
families in our congregation as well as our community. |
| Student Loan/Scholarship |
The Student Loan committee is responsible for
management of all specifically designated assets, recording and
collecting loan balances, securing promissory notes, disbursement of
financial awards, and creating/maintaining a fair, unbiased award
selection process. |
| Technology Committee |
The purpose of the Technology Committee is to
keep all technical properties of the church running smoothly, both in
the sanctuary and office. |
| Women's Guild |
St. John's Women's Guild is an organization "To
unite all the women of the church in Christian Fellowship and with
divine help and guidance to develop an understanding of the work of the
entire church. |
| Worship & Music |
The worship Committee works with the Pastor,
Director of Music, Altar Guild and the Technology Committee to ensure
that St. John's regularly provides enriching worship opportunities and
musical experiences for our member and visitors. |
